The Rubik's Cubes
Rubik’s cubes have been a part of my life since childhood. I was in 7th grade when I received my first cube as a birthday gift. Instead of letting it collect dust, I was determined to solve it. At first, I could only complete one color, but my curiosity pushed me further. With the help of YouTube tutorials and countless trials, I finally cracked it.
What started as a simple challenge soon became a passion. I began collecting and solving cubes of all kinds-different shapes, mods, and variations. I wasn’t aiming to be the fastest; I was drawn to the thrill of solving as many unique puzzles as possible. Over time, my collection grew to include a diverse range of cubes, from commonly available ones in India to a few rare imports from the USA, each bringing its own unique solving experience.
Beyond just a hobby, solving cubes has shaped the way I think. It has taught me patience, pattern recognition, and the ability to break down complex problems into structured steps. The countless permutations I’ve navigated have refined my problem-solving approach, influencing both my personal and professional life.
Recently, I solved a 14×14×14 cube, a rare accomplishment that only a tiny fraction of the world’s population has achieved. But for me, it’s never just about solving puzzles; it’s about the challenge, the logic, and the endless possibilities within every twist and turn.
